Every year, children and families write hundreds of thousands of letters addressed to Santa at the North Pole. Some letters ask for toys and games. Some ask for basic essentials. Some ask for help for themselves and their loved ones. Operation Santa Claus is a yearly initiative undertaken by the United States Postal Service that allows individuals and organizations to respond to these letters on behalf of Santa.
This year, Ntropic adopted a letter that struck a chord within our office. We responded to a letter from a little girl named Sandra. She wrote to Santa asking for toys and books, as well as clothes for her mother, her sister, her two brothers, and her dog, Lulu. We all pitched in to make sure Sandra's family received everything they had asked for and more. During this process, we even received an education on children's toys of today (two words: Poopsie Surprise). Needless to say, putting a little magic in one family's Christmas brought us all closer together and reminded us of what the holidays are really about.
