    The Role

    As Head of the Production department, it will be your mission to ensure delivery of exceptional, innovative work that is executed flawlessly, on-time and on-budget. You will manage overall client satisfaction, financial and operational performance, the cohesion of internal teams, and you will train, motivate, guide and inspire a production team of extraordinarily talented and driven professionals to deliver excellence.

    A Day in the Life:

    (Responsibilities)

    • Assist New Business with bidding jobs
    • Play a lead role in new business pitches and securing projects
    • Bid jobs and create budgets
    • Develop project schedule and assemble a production and creative team
    • Assign projects to producers with appropriate handover
    • Assist producers with projections, actualization, and the project wrap process
    • Serve as a Sr. Producer on some projects when required
    • Oversee and manage staff and freelance producers, production coordinators and studio assistants
    • Collaborate with HOPs of other Ntropic offices and partners to assess the best overall use of resources
    • Work with Creative Directors and be up to date on all their projects
    • Oversee project development, kick-off, creative, and client meetings
    • Accountable for accuracy and quality control of Ntropic standards
    • Manage client satisfaction and promote ongoing relationships
    • Lead the assessment and implementation of improved production processes
    • Schedule and lead weekly or regular status meetings to organize and inform production staff, CDs and leads of upcoming productions.

    SR. VFX/POST PRODUCER

    The Role

    As a Sr. VFX-Post Producer in our San Francisco office, you will help create high-quality work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.     A DAY IN THE LIFE

    • Bid jobs and create budgets
    • Develop project schedule and assemble a creative team

    • Work with creative directors and VFX Supervisors and manage multiple artists and animators
    • Communicate with the client and artists daily to ensure we are managing project deadlines and budget expectations
    • Accountable for accuracy and quality control of Ntropic standards
    • Actualize, do projections and wrap projects
    • Manage client satisfaction and promote ongoing relationship
    • Ability to judge creativity and understand Ntropic’s style and aesthetic
    • Give guidance to artists and manage job expectations
    • Continue to develop and expand roster of high level producer and artist resources
    • Industry connections and solid existing relationships will be very advantageous to help grow and progress a versatile and talented team.
    ENOUGH ABOUT US, YOU HAVE:

    • Must have a minimum 5 years experience as a VFX and Post Producer. Live Action production experience a plus.
    • Expertise with 2D and 3D pipelines and workflows involving Flame, Maya, Vray, After Effects, Nuke, Nuke Studio and C4D is essential
    • Great attention to detail
    • Strong organization skills and experience managing multiple projects
    • Great creative vision and the ability to provide creative direction and feedback
